Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [Your full legal name] ("MUZCIRCLE", "we", "us"), the operator of the MUZCIRCLE platform (the "Platform"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What MUZCIRCLE is — and is not
MUZCIRCLE is a neutral online venue that lets professional entertainers ("Performers") and the people and businesses who hire entertainment ("Organizers") discover one another and communicate. We provide the software only.
We are NOT a party to any agreement, booking, engagement, or transaction between users. We are not an agent, manager, employer, promoter, producer, talent agency, or representative of any user. We do not book, hire, supply, endorse, or provide entertainment services, and we do not negotiate, set, collect, hold, or guarantee any prices, fees, deposits, or payments.
Every booking, contract, payment, cancellation, refund, tax obligation, and the delivery and quality of any performance is arranged and handled solely between the users involved, entirely at their own risk. MUZCIRCLE is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from, those arrangements and interactions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use the Platform. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is true, accurate, and current.
You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any licensing, permit, employment, tax, and consumer-protection rules relating to your activities.
3. Accounts, profiles, and admin approval
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Performer profiles and other content may be reviewed by our team before they become publicly visible. We may approve, reject, request changes to, suspend, hide, or remove any profile, content, or account at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without reason and with or without notice. We are under no obligation to publish or continue displaying any content.
Approval, review, or any "verified" indicator is a limited, best-effort measure. It is NOT a guarantee of any user's identity, background, qualifications, reliability, legal status, or suitability. You must carry out your own checks and due diligence before dealing with anyone.
4. User content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you submit (text, images, video and audio links, and other material). You grant MUZCIRCLE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.
You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or any law.
You agree not to:
- post false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, offensive, or harmful content;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- harass, threaten, defraud, or harm other users;
- collect or scrape data, or use bots, without our written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems;
- use the Platform for spam, or for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Content and music rights
This section applies in addition to "User content and conduct" above and covers material relating to musical works, performances, and recordings. Because copyright and public-performance rules differ significantly from country to country, each user is responsible for meeting the rules that apply to them and to their event.
Performer portfolio material. When a performer uploads photos, videos, audio, recordings, or other portfolio material, they represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all rights, licences, consents, and releases needed to upload that material and to have MUZCIRCLE display it — including any permissions required from co-performers, songwriters, producers, other rights-holders, and any identifiable people who appear in it. Uploading portfolio material to showcase past work does not, by itself, grant anyone the right to perform, copy, or reuse the underlying works.
Music-performance licences at events. The organizer, venue, or event host is responsible for obtaining any public-performance, collecting-society, mechanical, or other music licences that the law of the event location requires for music to be performed or played at an event, unless they have agreed otherwise in writing with the performer. A performer's presence on the Platform does not include, provide, or substitute for any such licence, and MUZCIRCLE does not obtain, provide, or verify any of these licences.
Recording and commercial reuse of a performance. Whether a live performance may be recorded, and whether any resulting photos, audio, or video may be reused — in particular for promotional or commercial purposes — must be agreed directly between the performer and the organizer or venue. MUZCIRCLE grants no recording or reuse rights and is not a party to any such agreement.
Performing a work is not the same as owning it. The fact that a performer performs or features a song, composition, or track does not mean the performer owns or controls the underlying composition, lyrics, arrangement, or sound recording. You must not upload, share, or reuse third-party compositions or recordings through the Platform unless you hold the rights or permissions to do so.
Rights complaints. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, contact us at support@muzcircle.com. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, as described in these Terms.
6. Posted opportunities (gigs)
Organizers may post opportunities ("gigs"), and performers may express interest in them. Gigs are user content: the user who posts a gig is solely responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness, and for any arrangement that results. MUZCIRCLE does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any gig, its budget, or any user who posts or responds to one.
Gigs are published automatically without prior review. MUZCIRCLE may hide or remove any gig at any time at its discretion, including in response to reports, and is not liable for gigs posted by users or for any dealings arising from them. Never send money or sensitive information in response to a gig without independently verifying the other party and the opportunity.
7. How search and ranking work
Search results, listings, and recommendations on the Platform are currently ordered organically — that is, by relevance signals such as how well a profile matches the search, profile completeness, and activity on the Platform — and not by any payment. MUZCIRCLE does not currently sell placement in search results.
If we introduce paid, sponsored, or promoted placement in the future, we will label those results clearly (for example, as "Sponsored" or "Promoted") and keep them visually distinguishable from organic results, so you can always tell the difference.
Ranking signals may change over time as we improve the Platform. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, position, visibility, number of views, or amount of interest for any profile, listing, or gig.
8. Messaging, monitoring, and no confidentiality
The Platform includes a private messaging feature. Messages are shown only to the participants in a conversation and are not publicly visible.
However, you acknowledge and expressly agree that MUZCIRCLE, its staff, and its administrators may access, store, review, monitor, retain, and use messages and any other content or data on the Platform — including for safety and moderation, preventing fraud and abuse, responding to complaints and disputes, complying with legal obligations, and operating, analysing, and improving the service. The messaging feature is therefore not a confidential or end-to-end secure communications service, and you should not use it to share sensitive information you would not want us to be able to access.
9. Dealing with other users
Your interactions and dealings with other users are solely between you and them. MUZCIRCLE does not screen users beyond the limited review described above and makes no representations about any user's conduct, identity, or the safety, legality, or quality of any engagement.
You are solely responsible for taking reasonable precautions in all interactions, especially when meeting people, travelling, or arranging events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUZCIRCLE is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or dispute arising from user interactions or off-Platform dealings.
10. Cancellations, deposits and refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, refunds, and any related charges are agreed and handled directly between the performer and the organizer. MUZCIRCLE is not a party to those arrangements and does not set, collect, hold, release, or refund any money, and does not mediate or guarantee any outcome.
Before committing to a booking, both users should agree clear cancellation and refund terms in writing — including any deposit, how much notice is required, and what happens if either side cancels or the event is postponed. If you do not agree these terms, you accept the risk of a dispute that MUZCIRCLE cannot resolve for you.
We may keep an internal record of cancellations, no-shows, and disputes and take this into account for safety, moderation, and reliability purposes. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or abuse of other users may lead to warnings, reduced visibility, suspension, or removal from the Platform, as described in these Terms.
11. Fees
The Platform is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce fees, commissions, or paid features in the future. If we do, we will make the terms clear before they apply to you, and any payment services would be provided by third parties under their own terms.
12. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design, branding, and the MUZCIRCLE name and logo, is owned by [Your full legal name] and protected by law. Except for your own content, nothing in these Terms gives you any right to use our intellectual property without our prior written permission.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. MUZCIRCLE does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements, and does not warrant any results from using it, including any bookings, income, or outcomes.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUZCIRCLE, [Your full legal name], and their owners, staff, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform or any dealings with other users, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid to MUZCIRCLE in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MUZCIRCLE, [Your full legal name], and their owners, staff, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Platform, your content, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your dealings with any other user.
16. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, at our discretion, including if we believe you have breached these Terms or created risk for us or other users.
You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your account at any time. However, you may not delete your account while you have an active or pending booking arrangement with another user; you must first resolve or cancel that arrangement directly with the other party. We may retain certain information after deletion where necessary for legal, security, or dispute purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts of the Republic of Cyprus will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us first at support@muzcircle.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
