Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [Your full legal name] ("MUZCIRCLE", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the MUZCIRCLE platform (the "Platform"). We are the data controller for that data. If you have any questions, contact us at support@muzcircle.com.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data: your email address and password (stored securely, in hashed form).
- Profile data: for performers — stage name, age, city and country, categories, genres, languages, experience, pricing indicators, travel preferences, and links to media you add; for organizers — organization name, type, and location.
- Booking data: the booking requests you send or receive and their status.
- Messages: the content of conversations you have with other users on the Platform.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, log data, and how you interact with the Platform.
- Approximate location: the approximate country you are in when you create your account (derived from your IP address), used for fraud prevention, safety, and to understand where our community is based. We store only the country, not your precise location.
- Cookies: essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure.
2. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- provide and operate the Platform and connect performers with organizers;
- review, approve, and moderate profiles and content before and after they go public;
- keep the Platform safe — preventing fraud, abuse, spam, and other harmful activity;
- respond to complaints, handle disputes, and enforce our Terms;
- communicate with you about your account and the service;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- understand usage and improve the Platform.
3. Access to your messages
Messages are private to the participants of a conversation and are not shown publicly. However, as stated in our Terms, MUZCIRCLE's staff and administrators may access, store, review, and use message content and other account data for the purposes above — including safety, moderation, dispute handling, legal compliance, and improving the service. Please keep this in mind and do not share information through the Platform that you would not want us to be able to access.
4. Legal bases (for users in the EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Platform and the features you request;
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Platform safe, prevent abuse, moderate content, handle disputes, and improve the service;
- Consent — where we ask for it (for example, non-essential features you opt into); and
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
5. How we share data
We share personal data only as needed:
- With other users — your public profile is visible to Platform users once approved, and your messages are visible to the other participant in a conversation.
- With service providers who host and run the Platform on our behalf (for example, our database and application hosting providers), under contracts that require them to protect your data.
- With authorities or third parties where we reasonably believe it is required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or us.
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
MUZCIRCLE is a global platform, so your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including outside the EEA. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Platform. After you close your account, we may retain certain data — such as messages, booking records, and safety or dispute-related information — for a further period where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@muzcircle.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Note that some data may be retained as described above even after a deletion request, where the law allows.
9. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your account at any time. For everyone's protection, you cannot delete your account while you have an active or pending booking arrangement with another user — you must first resolve or cancel it directly with the other party.
10. Children
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls at the database level. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time; we will change the "last updated" date above when we do. For any privacy question or request, contact [Your full legal name] at support@muzcircle.com, [Your contact address].
